- Weapon: Twisted Bow, Dragon Hunter Crossbow, Blowpipe/Magic Shortbow (i), Rune Crossbow/Magic Shortbow
- Armour: Full Corrupted Perfected with Slayer Helm (i)
- Shield: Avernic Defender > Dragon defender > Best melee shield you have
- Necklace/amulet: Amulet of Torture > Amulet of Fury
- Boots: Primordial Boots > Bandos boots > Dragon Boots
- Cape: Completionist Cape > Infernal Max Cape > Infernal cape > Fire Max Cape > Fire Cape
- Ring: Berserker Ring (i) or Ring of wealth (i)
Range Setup
- Weapon: Twisted Bow, Dragon Hunter Crossbow, Blowpipe/Magic Shortbow (i), Rune Crossbow/Magic Shortbow
- Armour: Full Corrupted Perfected with Slayer Helm (i)
- Necklace/amulet: Necklace of Anguish > Amulet of glory

Combat Strategy
Alchemical Hydra has four phases, each with specific mechanics you need to understand and counter.
Phase 1: Green Poison Phase (Red Platform)
- Strategy: Start on the red platform near the fountain. After three range attacks, she will spit poison at you.
ℹ️ Note: Keep moving around to avoid her poison splats and get into position for the next phase.
Phase 2: Blue Lightning Phase (Green Platform)
- Strategy: Move to the green platform after being hit by the fountain.
ℹ️ Note: On the fourth attack, she will use lightning. You can either run or stand still if you’re comfortable with low damage.
Phase 3: Red Fire Phase (Blue Platform)
- Strategy: After another hit from the fountain on the blue platform, prepare for fire attacks.
ℹ️ Note: Avoid being near her when she moves to the center of the room and runs after you. Stay mobile.
Phase 4: Black Poison Phase
- Strategy: She can attack from any position during this phase.
ℹ️ Note: Continuously move around, switch prayers between melee and ranged as necessary, and sip antipoison if hit by poison splats.
