Base Ironman Guide

Getting Started

First off, select which game mode you would like to play. Ironman and Hardcore Ironman share the same base XP rate of 250x, whereas Rogue Hardcore Ironman has an XP rate of 5x with an increased drop rate of 7%.

Early Account Setup

The first thing you should do when creating your account is vote. Voting supports the server and provides early-game GP and vote points that will benefit your account long-term.

Be sure to claim your daily reward by using ::dailyreward at home or speaking to the Daily Reward Wizard north of the home teleport.

At 500 total level, speak to the Referral Tutor at home to claim a referral gift and let staff know how you discovered the server.

Early Game

Now the grind begins — especially if you chose Rogue mode.

Thieving (Recommended First Skill)

Thieving provides early GP and allows you to obtain a Rune Pickaxe quickly. You can train at the stalls behind the home bank.

Recommended Thieving Path

Afterward, purchase the Thieving Skillcape from ::maxisland. Its stats are useful until you obtain your Fire Cape.

Early Progression Tips

Check Hespori requirements with ::hespori. Participate in Hespori and Outlast events whenever available.

Mid Game

Slayer & Crystal Tasks

At 75 Slayer, Crystal Slayer becomes one of the best money makers. Tasks cost 1M GP from the Elf Tracker at ::slayer, but easily pay for themselves via alchs.

Cannons can be purchased from the Ironman shop for 20M GP. Voting and Outlast tournaments are reliable ways to fund this.

Barrows Progression

Focus primarily on killing Karil the Tainted.

An alternative path is grinding a Magic Shortbow (i):

Late Game

Your primary goal now is unlocking Raids:

Raids are SAFE deaths and extremely rewarding. Refer to ::topic 99 for a basic guide.

Zulrah

Zulrah is another major milestone. Use ::topic 345 for rotation guidance. After each kill, teleport home, restore, and return — zero supplies per kill.

Before camping Zulrah, consider obtaining:

Endgame Goals

After obtaining a Blowpipe, begin working toward:

Duplicate items should be burned for FoE and used toward pets and upgrades such as K'klik, Ring of Wealth Scrolls, and eventually Kratos and dark variants.

Maxing Route

Combat Skills

Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Magic, Hitpoints, and Slayer should be trained through general PvM. Prayer can be trained using Zulrah dragon bones.

Happy grinding! 🗡️
